klisterious Sumner McKane is creating soundtracks for history. And his films are just as important as his music. Favorite track: A Timber Cruiser Alone, 1880.

Chris Richards This is the first full album since Sumner did a load of scores and soundtrack work. It's good to have him back. Sumner is in my mind unique. He pretty much owns the 'ambient Americana' genre with his diverse and evocative music.

It's guitar-chill. It's music that sits perfectly in the background, but that always keeps you interested if you focus in on it.

The lack of 'supported by' thumbnails is criminal. Go buy his catalogue now, and tell your friends! Favorite track: The Injured Hawk.
